It’s not exactly Guns n Roses, but Net Entertainment’s other upcoming slot – Dracula – is a much less concealed secret. Net Entertainment usually favour a cloak and dagger approach to their new games, but there have already been previews concerning their new Dracula slot, so we do know when he’ll be swooping down into your casino.
Dracula has not been designed as a Halloween themed slot, which we’re over the moon about. There are far too many of them gracing the online casino world. Instead, Dracula is a wonderfully designed 3D slot, with the emphasis on realism. Animated reels and imagery are really going to be a plus, in this digital retelling of Bram Stoker’s most famous character. From what we’ve seen, striking is the word best used to describe this upcoming slot.
But what are the stakes, if you’ll excuse the vampire-themed pun? Dracula is appears to allow players control over coin values, and betting levels, although not the number of paylines they get to play with. Bets look like they are going to be on the cheap side, and given you won’t be able to adjust the paylines, it appears as though Dracula will be a 20-line slot, or have 25 lines at the most.
We have learnt a bit about Dracula’s special features. At any point in the game, Dracula can transform into bats, which will randomly flap their way across the screen and turn into a random icon. These bats can turn several symbols (or all of them) into particular icon. Wilds will also be present in this slot. There are actually two different types. A standard wild and a stacked wild (which only appears on the third reel during free spins) will be included.
This means that there is going to be a free spins round. But, you probably knew that anyway. Free spins is triggered by landing a stacked Dracula on the second reel, and Mina Murray stacked on the fourth reel. The free spins bonus will then be triggered. The bonus consists of 10 free games, and during this bonus, bats will always be flying over the reels, transforming symbols left, right and centre. If a stacked wild appears on the third reel in this bonus, two extra free spins are granted.
There is an official launch date for Dracula. It is due out in online casinos on April 23, although you are likely to be able to get hold of it a bit earlier than that (usually 24 hours earlier) as a timed release. This is something that Net Entertainment has started to do with a couple of casinos running their software(Betsafe and Thrills). Dracula looks absolutely sensational, and we’re itching to get our claws on this one.
You can play Dracula for fun here on its releaseday or play other Net Entertainment slots for fun until then.
